Lead the full electrical design scope from concept to IFC, for major infrastructure and transportation projects. Ensure technical quality, interdisciplinary coordination, and compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver complete electrical designs (Concept till IFC) including LV / Auxiliary systems, load calculations, cable sizing, distribution studies, and performance assessments.
- Manage and coordinate Revit electrical models with architecture, structural, mechanical, public health, and control systems.
- Develop basis of design and define project-specific electrical standards, specifications, and design criteria.
- Support ECS, fire alarm, and mechanical system power/control integration, including SCADA/OCS interface requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, BS, NFPA, CIBSE and support authority approval processes.
- Resolve technical issues, optimize system configurations, and review vendor technical submissions.
- Participate in coordination meetings, workshops, and support FAT/SAT and commissioning.
- Mentor junior engineers and support BIM/modelling teams, and represent the discipline in client meetings.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering from reputable university.
- 12–15 years of electrical design experience in industrial, metro, transportation, infrastructure or utility projects.
- Strong expertise in LV distribution, lighting, UPS, ELV, earthing & lightning protection, and load analysis.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical analysis software, Dialux/Relux would be advantage.
- Experience with railway traction power, substations, rectifier stations, or DC systems is a major advantage.
- Proven ability to lead design coordination and deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines.
- Strong communication, client-facing, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
