We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage and control all project documentation for a major infrastructure project. The role requires strict adherence to project procedures, authority requirements, and contractor workflows, with full responsibility for document control through Aconex or an equivalent Document Management System (DMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, organize, and control all project documentation, including drawings, reports, correspondence, and submissions.
- Administer document control processes using Aconex or other approved DMS, ensuring accurate uploading, routing, tracking, and retrieval of documents.
- Ensure compliance with project document numbering systems, revision control, workflows, and approval procedures.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and project management teams to collect, review, and submit documents in line with the project programme.
- Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing documents, transmittals, and approvals.
- Monitor submission schedules and support timely delivery of documents to the Client, Consultant, and Authorities.
- Ensure document confidentiality, data integrity, and proper access control.
- Support internal and external audits, quality checks, and project reporting requirements.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in document control, preferably on large infrastructure or transportation projects.
- Hands-on experience with Aconex or similar DMS is essential.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a project-based environment and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
