About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Design Architect to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this strategic role, you will lead the design and architecture of complex enterprise systems, driving innovation while maintaining technical excellence. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, efficient architectural solutions and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver transformative design outcomes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive enterprise architecture strategies aligned with organizational objectives and business goals
- Design scalable system architectures that balance innovation, performance, and cost-effectiveness
- Lead and mentor design teams, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand requirements and translate them into architectural frameworks
- Establish and enforce design standards, best practices, and architectural governance policies
- Evaluate emerging technologies and design methodologies to keep the organization at the forefront of industry innovation
- Create detailed architectural documentation, including system diagrams, design specifications, and implementation roadmaps
- Review and approve design proposals from team members, ensuring alignment with organizational standards
- Participate in performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support team development
What do we need from you
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in design architecture or enterprise architecture roles
- Proven expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies
- Advanced proficiency with industry-standard design tools and software platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex systems
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing design teams
- Comprehensive portfolio showcasing successful architectural projects and design implementations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives and modernization projects
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and distributed system design
- Familiarity with emerging design technologies and industry trends
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Preferred: Professional certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, or equivalent architecture credentials
- Preferred: Experience mentoring junior architects and fostering professional development
- Preferred: Background in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
