Lead all aspects of the design review process within the consultant’s organisation relating to Depot Equipment
Ensure the submitted designs are compliant with applicable standards and legislation
Conduct design reviews of all Depot Equipment
Ensure Depot Equipment is compatible with the Rolling Stock of the project
Support other members of the Consultant’s technical team on technical issues
During the construction, installation and T&C phases, ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved designed, in conjunction with the Construction Management team
Provide relevant input for regular and ad-hoc reports.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, HVAC, power, and lighting aspects of the depot equipment
Assisting in Quality Control during manufacturing of Depot Equipment
Review of documents for Depot Equipment Factory and Site Acceptance tests
Coordination of such tests with the client
Participation at FAT's and Onsite Tests
BEng or Meng in electrical or mechanical engineering.
General overall experience (15) years including:
10 years of professional experience in the metro field.
5 years of experience in management and implementation of similar projects and in a similar position.
Have knowledge of Metro Rail Systems and the safety requirements for the designs, according to international standards and accepted best practice.
Arabic: Native proficiency
English: Bilingual proficiency essential
Strong communications, coordination, and management skills
Competency in MS Office Package and project management tools such as Aconex
