As a Senior Consultant (Asset Manager) with Egis, your impact will be in acting as a technical advisor to clients within the public sector for whole of life asset management life cycle to manage and deliver projects services and outcomes. We are excited to be expanding our business in South Australia, recently being engaged across all sectors for opportunities with a focus on advisory, systems engineering, asset management, defence, water and urban development.
You will also be responsible for:
- Manage and lead a range of complex medium to large projects locally, nationally and potentially internationally.
- Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to lead projects through all stages to successful delivery.
- Ensuring work is executed within the agreed budget, strategies are developed to effectively manage variations and quality of work outcomes exceed client expectations.
- Develop and implement strategic asset management and sustainability plans to align with client needs and expectations.
- Implement new initiatives and cost saving exercises through whole of life asset management lens on assigned projects.
- Create sustainability plans, management plans, environment management plans,
- Review asset management reviews, sustainability strategies and carbon assessments.
- Support preparation of bids and tender submissions.
- Supervise, mentor and support junior Consultants and Graduates, as required.
Ideally, you will have at least 5-10 years of demonstrated experience with an infrastructure background in asset management within a professional services or consultancy environment. In addition, you will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- Demonstrated expertise working on projects for public sector clients in Adelaide managing storm water, asset management and road infrastructure projects
- Strong connections and supporting local council clients with an understanding of internal local government legislation and processes related to asset management plans and LTFPs; asset renewal; service levels; roads and footpaths; ESG and green infrastructure
- Knowledge of systems engineering and safety assurance in the context of infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with excel (modelling, macros) and various asset management IT platforms.
- Knowledge of relevant ISO Accreditation standards
- Excellent client relationship management skill as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and technical mindset.
