About the Role

  • Planning and design of airport landside and airside infrastructure
  • Geometric design of runways, taxiways, and aprons; flexible to rigid; and composite aircraft pavement design
  • Support the aircraft stand designs and simulations for the aircraft moving.
  • Producing design and investigative reports related to aircraft pavements, airside and landside roads and associated airport infrastructure A civil engineer with expertise in the design, construction, and modularization of civil components
  • Able to supervise the construction of airport works and ensure that the execution is in accordance with the work specifications.
  • Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, and drafts very complex professional service agreements.
  • arranging for their review and execution by senior management.
  • Directs project team compliance with contract terms, monitors subcontractors' progress, performance, and compliance with contractual commitments; participates in contract dispute resolution and litigation concerning project performance, administration, and other liability issues.
  • reviews and approves sub-consultant and vendor invoices and resolves payment disputes.
  • Identifies new business opportunities for the firm, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes the firm's capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.
  • Coordinates communications between internal and external associates and clients, and between firms and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains frequent contact with clients and regulatory agency personnel to determine their respective needs and requirements and serves as an expert witness at project hearings and judicial proceedings if necessary.
  • Supervises other project managers, technical professionals, and other design staff, including managing the weekly project workload and manpower forecasting.
  • Conducts project management training workshops and serves as a mentor to associate project managers and project managers.
  • Review plans, building codes, and standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC, ASME, and IBC).
  • Establish and maintain technical oversight of the applicable regulations. (e.g., SA, other national, or global region).
  • Experience working internationally (preference for the Middle East or KSA) and conversant with GACA Regulations 139.

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in large-scale projects
