We’re looking for a Senior Civil Designer – Urban Development to join our Brisbane team. This is a senior position where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, innovative design solutions for a broad portfolio of projects.
You’ll be responsible for leading design work from concept through to detailed documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and local council requirements. Projects may include large-scale masterplanned communities, Greenfield Projects, complex brownfield redevelopments, and bespoke urban infill developments.
Your day-to-day will see you:
Overseeing and producing detailed civil design for roads, drainage, earthworks, water, sewer, and utilities.
Reviewing and improving design processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
Collaborating closely with engineers, architects, planners, and landscape architects to create fully integrated design solutions.
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and engineers.
Supporting the preparation of tenders, proposals, and project budgets.
Representing Egis in client and authority meetings to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth project delivery.

- Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar.
5+ years’ experience in Urban Development.
Advanced skills in 12D and CAD.
Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
