We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior BIM Modeler specializing in Electrical systems to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead the creation and management of sophisticated electrical BIM models for complex, large-scale projects. Your expertise will drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation throughout the design and coordination process, while you collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results with minimal supervision.
- Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of high-quality BIM models for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit and complementary software tools
- Analyze and interpret detailed project requirements, ensuring full compliance with BIM standards, guidelines, and Indian electrical codes
- Create, modify, and manage complex Revit families and parameters tailored to project-specific needs and organizational standards
- Coordinate seamlessly with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve conflicts, optimizing building systems and clash detection
- Perform comprehensive quality assurance checks on models prior to review and submission to senior team members and authorities
- Support the development and preparation of authority submission documentation with accuracy and transparency
- Mentor and guide junior BIM modelers, fostering a collaborative environment and identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organizational excellence and meeting project deadlines
- Stay current with the latest BIM technologies, software updates, and industry best practices in electrical engineering and modeling
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows, standards, and documentation procedures
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in BIM modeling with a primary focus on electrical systems
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit with demonstrated expertise in creating and managing electrical models
- Strong working knowledge of Navisworks for coordination and clash detection
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical disciplines, systems, codes, and standards, including Indian electrical codes
- Proven ability to produce detailed, accurate models with minimal engineering input
- In-depth knowledge of BIM requirements, guidelines, and authority submission processes
- Expertise in coordination, zoning, and clash detection within BIM environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
- Capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with additional BIM coordination software and tools beyond Navisworks
- Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring junior team members
- Knowledge of international BIM standards and best practices
- Certification in BIM modeling or Revit
- Experience with Building Information Modeling on infrastructure or large-scale commercial projects
- Familiarity with energy modeling and sustainable design principles
- Experience in preparing and managing BIM documentation for regulatory submissions
