About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BIM Modeler specializing in Electrical systems to join our innovative team in Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our Building Information Modeling (BIM) department, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed electrical models for complex projects, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the design process.
- Lead the development and maintenance of high-quality BIM models for electrical systems using Revit and other advanced software tools
- Collaborate closely with project teams to deliver exceptional results with minimal supervision
- Analyze and interpret project requirements, ensuring compliance with BIM standards and guidelines
- Create and modify Revit families and parameters to meet project-specific needs
- Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts and optimize building systems
- Perform quality checks on models prior to review by senior team members
- Support the development of authority submission documentation
- Mentor junior team members and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in the electrical engineering field
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in BIM modeling, with a focus on electrical systems
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with Navisworks
- Strong understanding of electrical disciplines, systems, and relevant codes
- Demonstrated ability to produce detailed models with minimal engineering input
- In-depth knowledge of BIM requirements, guidelines, and authority submission processes
- Expertise in coordination, zoning, and clash detection within BIM environments
- Proven track record of creating and updating complex Revit families and parameters
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Capability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends
