About the Role

  • Lead architectural design and implementation for the rail project, including station buildings, terminals, depots, and other infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, urban planners, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to ensure a cohesive approach to design and construction.
  • Oversee and review architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring they meet both technical requirements and local regulatory standards.
  • Manage architectural design quality and ensure the project aligns with client expectations, design principles, budget, and schedule.
  • Coordinate with contractors and project managers to monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of architectural components.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate materials, finishes, and systems to enhance the functionality, durability, and sustainability of the rail infrastructure.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that the architectural work is completed according to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior architects and engineers on the project.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation required for project approvals and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and practices in all architectural work.
  • Support procurement processes related to architectural materials, equipment, and services.
  • Address any architectural issues or challenges that arise during construction, proposing and implementing corrective solutions as necessary.

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in architectural design and engineering.
  • Proven experience working on large-scale public transport or rail station projects.
