About Us

Egis is a leading global consulting, construction engineering and operating firm. We work together with our clients, across every aspect of transport, energy and the built environment to build a more balanced, sustainable and resilient world. The Egis Group has over 50 years’ experience and a team of 22,000 employees in over 120 countries around the world. Joining our Group means, above all, sharing our values as a people-first company, strongly committed to sustainability and innovation.

In the UK we're proud to be delivering some of the most iconic projects which help connect people, protect our environment and meet emission reduction targets. From motorways to tramways, nuclear power plants to smart cities, clients choose us to help them solve their most complex challenges - delivering climate-responsible growth that meets the needs of communities, industry, and the planet.

The M25 is one of our Flagship projects in the UK! It is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network with it seeing over 200,000 vehicles per day and it’s a critical infrastructure asset for personal and goods vehicles into and around our capital. The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, so it requires high levels of performance, constant improvement and repairs to keep it operating smoothly.

We’ve formed a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract until 2039

About the Role

ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly experienced RMMS Confirm specialist to take technical ownership of the Brightly Confirm application and ensure it supports CPS maintenance, asset management, operational delivery and National Highways requirements.

This is a specialist individual contributor role, not a people management position. The post holder will act as the key technical and business facing expert for Confirm, working closely with asset leads, operational teams, the Digital Development Lead, Digital & Data, IT Operations and suppliers.

The role will assess business requirements, align them with Confirm capability, support implementation planning and help shape a future proof roadmap for how Confirm is used across CPS. This includes understanding asset data from internal and external sources, supporting business critical integrations, improving data quality, strengthening user adoption and ensuring Confirm is positioned as a core part of the wider CPS digital and asset management landscape.

The post holder will provide expert guidance on system configuration, workflow design, data governance, testing, release readiness, integration reliability, supplier engagement and continuous improvement.

The role is the technical lead for the engineering approach to operating and supporting the Confirm Product as a live service, ensuring reliability, performance, resilience, and scalability.

The post holder will define and embed best practice for application operations, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, problem management and service optimisation.

The role will act as the senior technical authority for application operations, setting standards and guiding engineers, suppliers and support teams. Input into the technical roadmap and recommending future Confirm functionalities that align with strategic direction.

Confirm Platform Ownership:

Take technical ownership of the Brightly Confirm / RMMS platform, ensuring it remains stable, secure, well maintained and aligned to CPS operational, contractual and reporting requirements.

Act as the internal subject matter expert for Confirm, providing clear guidance on system capability, configuration options, limitations, risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.

Ensure Confirm is managed as a business critical platform, with appropriate controls around configuration, access, releases, testing, support, documentation and service continuity.

Business Requirements and Process Alignment:

Work directly with asset leads, operational teams, planners, maintenance teams and business stakeholders, driving collaboration between stakeholders to understand requirements and assess how they should be delivered through Confirm.

Challenge and shape requirements where needed to ensure Confirm is used consistently, efficiently and in line with good asset management practice.

Ensure business processes are aligned with Confirm capability, reducing unnecessary manual workarounds, duplicated data and disconnected ways of working.

Confirm Roadmap and Future Direction:

Work with the business, asset leads, the Digital Development Lead and Digital & Data teams to build and maintain a clear roadmap supporting Confirm implementation, optimisation and future improvement.

Identify where Confirm should support future asset management, mobile working, reporting, data governance, National Highways requirements and wider CPS digital strategy.

Assess opportunities to improve Confirm usage over time, including better workflow design, stronger asset data, improved reporting, reduced manual processing and more reliable integration with other systems.

Support longer term thinking around where Confirm sits in the CPS application landscape and how it should connect with systems holding asset, inspection, maintenance and performance data.

Asset Management and Data Governance

Develop a strong understanding of CPS asset data, including how asset information is created, maintained, validated, migrated, consumed and reported across Confirm and connected systems.

Work with asset leads and data teams to understand business critical asset data from internal and external sources.

Support improvements to asset data quality, completeness, consistency and auditability across Confirm.

Ensure Confirm data structures support operational delivery, contractual reporting, business intelligence, data lake use and future integration requirements.

System Integration Management

Work with developers, system owners, suppliers and technical teams to understand and support business critical integrations between Confirm and other platforms.

Support integration planning and issue resolution across systems holding or consuming asset data, including systems such as KOREC, Astrid, Impulse, ISF, Ultimo, GIS platforms, Power BI, mobility solutions and data platforms.

Help define integration requirements, data flows, ownership, validation rules, failure points, support processes and operational dependencies.

Ensure integrations are reliable, auditable and aligned with business need, rather than being treated as isolated technical connections.

Configuration and Workflow Design

Lead the configuration and optimisation of Confirm modules, workflows, forms, templates, inspection processes, work order structures, asset hierarchies, reference data and reporting outputs.

Tailor Confirm settings and workflows so the system supports CPS operational processes and future asset management needs.

Ensure configuration changes are documented, controlled and assessed for operational, reporting, data, integration and security impacts.

Application Support and Release Management

Maintain and support the Confirm RMMS application, including troubleshooting, root cause investigation, issue triage, patching, release readiness and coordinated release management.

Work with Brightly, IT Operations, Digital & Data, developers and business users to resolve complex issues and prevent recurring problems.

Maintain a strong understanding of system performance, known issues, operational risks and critical dependencies.

Work with the Test manger to create test scripts, user acceptance testing, regression testing and release validation.

Ensure changes are properly tested before they affect live operational users, business critical workflows, reporting outputs or connected systems.

Work with the business to confirm whether changes are fit for purpose and ready for adoption.

User Support, Training and Adoption:

Provide expert technical support, coaching and structured training to Confirm users, including maintenance teams, inspectors, planners, asset leads, data analysts and management.

User and Security Administration:

Manage Confirm user roles, permissions, access controls, authentication arrangements and auditability.

Ensure access is secure, proportionate and aligned to CPS policy, data protection expectations and operational requirements.

Review access arrangements regularly and ensure system administration activity is properly controlled and documented.

Stakeholder and Supplier Engagement:

Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, National Highways, Brightly and other suppliers to ensure Confirm supports strategic objectives and contractual obligations.

Act as a key technical interface between the business, suppliers and technical teams, ensuring issues, enhancement requests, risks and operational priorities are clearly understood, challenged and progressed.

Build trusted relationships across business, technical, supplier and customer groups.

Continuous Improvement Leadership:

Drive continuous improvement in how Confirm is used across CPS.

Identify, recommend and support system, workflow and data enhancements that increase efficiency in maintenance planning, work scheduling, inspections, asset lifecycle management and operational reporting.

Champion better use of Confirm as part of the wider CPS digital and data environment, with a focus on improved data quality, reduced manual effort, stronger integrations and better decision making.
