We are looking for an experienced ICT, ELV, and Security Systems professional with comprehensive technical knowledge and practical experience in the planning, design, coordination, integration, implementation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness of airport technology and security infrastructure. The successful candidate shall have hands-on knowledge of ICT systems, including structured cabling, LAN/WAN, data centers, active equipment, wireless systems, voice and IP telephony, and network security; security systems, including CCTV, access control, PIDS, passenger and security screening equipment, X-ray systems, explosive and metal detection systems, vehicle access control, ANPR, and barriers; and ELV systems, including fire alarm, BMS, IPTV, audiovisual systems, UPS, integrated platforms, and emergency communication systems. The candidate shall also demonstrate proven experience in airport projects, airport security facilities, airside infrastructure projects, Airport Operational Readiness and Transition (ORAT) activities, and airport systems integration projects, with the ability to coordinate multiple technology systems and interfaces to support safe, secure, resilient, and operationally ready airport facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and coordinate airport security system designs, including High-Level and Low Level Designs, specifications, BOQs, tender documents, and technical deliverables throughout concept, detailed design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with ICAO, GACA, IATA, SBC, NFPA, IEC, ISO 27001, and project specific Employer Requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces between security, ICT, electrical, mechanical, architectural, civil, and airport operational teams.
• Participate in design workshops, value engineering sessions, constructability reviews, and technical risk assessments.
• Monitor contractor compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Identify design risks, technical gaps, and interface issues and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate integration of security systems with airport management and operational platforms.
• Review FAT, SAT, Testing & Commissioning procedures, and Operational Readiness (ORAT) requirements, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and Handover activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, ICT Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional engineering registration with a recognized engineering body.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in ICT, ELV, and Security Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of airport project experience.
• Experience in design consultancy, PMC, supervision consultancy, contractor, or airport operator environments.
• The Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with applicable standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Understanding of sustainable construction practices and their application within project delivery.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
