About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scaffolder to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Scaffolder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our construction projects by erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures.
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards
- Inspect scaffolding components for defects or damage before use
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine scaffolding requirements
- Ensure proper installation of safety features such as guardrails, toe boards, and access ladders
- Collaborate with other construction team members to coordinate scaffolding needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing scaffolding equipment when not in use
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform regular safety checks and report any potential hazards or issues to supervisors
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior scaffolders
What do we need from you
- Minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding assembly and disassembly in the Bridge Construction Industry
- Valid scaffolding certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges
- Willingness and ability to work in hot climate conditions
- Basic understanding of construction industry practices and terminology
