We are seeking a Safety Supervisor to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs and protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all employees. As a Safety Supervisor, you will demonstrate professional leadership, decisive action in safety matters, and meticulous attention to detail in identifying and mitigating workplace hazards. You will work collaboratively with management and staff to foster a strong safety culture while maintaining full compliance with local Kuwait regulations and international safety standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational standards and local regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and unsafe conditions
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; document findings and recommend corrective actions
- Provide comprehensive safety training and onboarding to new employees and conduct refresher training for existing staff
- Maintain detailed safety records, documentation, and reports; ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Analyze safety data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement; prepare performance reports for management
- Coordinate with external safety auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure organizational compliance
- Respond promptly to safety concerns and emergencies; take decisive action to prevent injuries and property damage
- Collaborate with department heads and supervisors to promote safety awareness and accountability across all levels
- Stay current with changes in safety regulations, standards, and best practices; communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
- Organize and facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns
- Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar safety management role in a corporate or industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, including OSHA regulations and international safety practices
- Strong expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation
- Proficiency in developing and delivering safety training programs
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills with the ability to maintain accurate safety records
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in safety management systems and software tools
- Knowledge of local Kuwait safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret safety data and metrics
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards
- Preferred: Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHSAS, NEBOSH, or equivalent)
- Preferred: Multilingual capabilities in Arabic and English
- Preferred: Experience with safety auditing and regulatory compliance processes
