About the Role
We are seeking a Road Strategy Specialist to join our organization in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive road safety strategies that reduce traffic incidents and enhance public safety across our region. You will work collaboratively with government agencies, transportation authorities, and community stakeholders to create data-driven safety initiatives and policies that make a measurable impact on road safety outcomes.
- Develop and execute road safety strategies aligned with organizational and regional objectives
- Analyze traffic accident data, safety metrics, and behavioral patterns to identify high-risk areas and populations
- Design and implement evidence-based road safety programs and interventions
- Collaborate with traffic authorities, law enforcement, and transportation departments to ensure policy compliance and effective program delivery
- Conduct research on road safety best practices and emerging trends in traffic management
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on safety performance, program effectiveness, and recommendations for improvement
- Manage road safety projects from conception through implementation and evaluation
- Engage with stakeholders including government officials, community organizations, and the public to promote safety awareness
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety initiatives using key performance indicators
- Stay current with international road safety standards and regulatory requirements applicable to the region
What do we need from you
- Proven experience developing and implementing road safety strategies and programs
- 12 years Minimum experience, preferred exp in the same field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of traffic safety metrics
- Knowledge of road safety engineering principles and best practices
- Experience with traffic management systems and safety compliance frameworks
- Excellent project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in policy development and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with accident investigation and prevention methodologies
- Experience with GIS or traffic modeling software (preferred)
- Knowledge of Saudi traffic regulations and regional road safety context (preferred)
- Experience working in the Middle East or similar regions (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
