We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RMC Supervisor (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing road maintenance and operations projects, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient resource utilization.
- Supervise and coordinate road maintenance and operations activities in assigned areas
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to optimize road infrastructure performance
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address road maintenance issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards
- Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Prepare and oversee project budgets, timelines, and progress reports
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies and contractors
- Implement traffic management strategies to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in road maintenance and operations
- Analyze and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovative maintenance techniques
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in road maintenance and operations
- Proven supervisory experience in infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of road construction materials, techniques, and quality control measures
- Proficiency in project management and budgeting
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards for road maintenance in Qatar
- Professional certifications in road maintenance and operations (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel within the assigned region as needed
