About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Coordinator to join our construction projects team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across our construction projects to ensure successful project delivery and organizational compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

  • Identify, analyze, and document potential risks across construction projects, including technical, financial, schedule, and operational risks
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive risk registers and risk assessment matrices for assigned projects
  • Monitor and track risk indicators, escalating issues to project management and senior leadership as needed
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to gather risk-related information and ensure timely reporting
  • Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for project teams and management reviews
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation and contingency plans
  • Ensure compliance with organizational risk management policies, procedures, and Saudi Arabian construction regulations
  • Maintain organized documentation systems and databases for risk-related information and historical project data
  • Participate in risk assessment meetings and workshops to support proactive risk identification
  • Support the continuous improvement of risk management processes and tools
  • Communicate risk status updates and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and professional manner

What do we need from you

  • 3+ years of experience in risk management, project constols, or construction project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and frameworks
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices, terminology, and project delivery methods
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with diverse stakeholders

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Risk management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent)
  • Experience with risk management software and tools
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction regulations and local compliance requirements
  • Previous experience in construction project delivery or engineering environments
  • Familiarity with contract management and procurement processes
