About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Jeddah for an infrastructure site supervision consultancy project. The role involves managing cost control, contract administration, and quantity measurement for infrastructure projects including roads, wet utilities (water, sewerage, drainage), and dry utilities (power, telecommunications). The position requires strong technical expertise in infrastructure quantity surveying and excellent analytical skills.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and cash flow forecasts for infrastructure works
  • Monitor and control project costs, analyze price variations, and prepare cost impact assessments
  • Review and process contractor payment applications, variation orders, and claims
  • Conduct quantity take-offs, verify contractor's quantity submissions, and perform site measurements for roads and utility works
  • Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, track cost versus progress, and prepare monthly cost and progress reports
  • Review and assess contract documents, specifications, and shop drawings for measurement and cost implications
  • Coordinate with site teams, planning engineers, and design team for quantity verification, progress updates, and cost optimization
  • Maintain accurate cost databases, quantity records, and project control documentation

 


What do we need from you

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field with RICS membership preferred
  • Minimum 8years' experience in infrastructure projects, including roads and utilities construction
  • Strong background in contract administration and cost control
  • MOT experience is pre 

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in quantity surveying software, cost databases, and advanced Excel
  • Strong knowledge of construction measurement methods and infrastructure construction techniques
  • Experience with major forms of construction contracts (FIDIC, etc.)

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and attention to detail abilities
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
