Role is full-time and based in our office in Zimbor, Romania.
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the Consultant's approval of the Quality Assurance System and for the improvement of this system during the construction period. He will evaluate the Contractor's laboratory and all quality control procedures.

About the Role
- Testing and checking the materials in strict accordance with the Technical Specifications, in order to approve from a qualitative point of view all the works certified and submitted for payment
- Monitoring compliance with the Quality Assurance Plan presented by the Contractor and Law no. 10/1995
- Preparation of the database with test results and recording of quality data, as part of the contract Management System
- Preparation of all the necessary documents for the development of the construction book
- Coordinating the experts hired to carry out the activities involving quality control (laboratory technicians, field inspectors, etc.)
- Any other obligations and responsibilities according to the legislation in force and the conditions of the works contract
What do we need from you
We recognize that each applicant will bring different experience, but the ideal candidate will have:
- Preparation: higher education in construction
- Seniority: 10 years of experience
- Strong computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft applications – Excel advanced).
- Good spoken and written English
- Communication ability. Ability to analyze and synthesize. Decision making capacity.
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work under stress and extended schedule
- Assuming responsibilities and maintaining confidentiality
