We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency across our railway systems and operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance programmes for railway operations and systems
- Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance and mentorship
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and Egyptian railway safety requirements
- Analyse quality data and prepare detailed reports for senior management, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions and process improvements
- Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies for railway operations
- Ensure adherence to all relevant local and international railway safety standards and regulations
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on quality-related matters
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the organisation
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the railway or transportation industry
- 7 years professional experience in railway projects
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance in the railway sector
- Proven experience in leading and managing quality assurance teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights
- Outstanding project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Fluency in English is a must
