You will be based in London and will be required to be on site in Old Oak Common (Acton) 4 days a week.
This position will be responsible for working with and supporting the Head of Construction Assurance and the Construction Teams to ensure that all works delivered by Anthro are done in accordance with SWI 310 Technical Assurance, SWI 600 Quality Management and the Anthro Technical Assurance Plan/ Quality Management Plan. Working as part of Anthro’s Quality and Assurance Team, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Producing Test and Inspection Plans (ITP’s) relevant to area of works
- Ensuring ITPs are implemented, and evidence produced to form a Quality Record Pack
- Inspections of Installed works including quality check sheets
- Compliance with Design and Client Requirements
- Snags, Defects and Non-conformance
- Building Installation Certificate Packs, Standalone Commissioning Packs and Integrated Commissioning Packs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all systems (MEPHFC) including construction and commissioning
- Ensure the ITPs are following relevant project and industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Collect/collate site assurance documentation
- Manage the documentation associated with ITPs, including digital tracking of check sheets and recording test results
- Ensure that all documentation and certification is complete and checked
- Monitor quality of installation works throughout project life
- Conduct regular inspections to prove progressive assurance, verify adherence to quality assurance procedures and identify areas for improvement
- Monitor and report on a programme of assurance, work quality and asset condition checks Compile periodic reports and analyse trends
- Attend Site Acceptance Tests
- Provide technical support and guidance to project personnel on matters related to quality assurance and compliance
- Participate in project meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing
- Manage Snags/Out Standing Works List assuring closure
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address any non-conformities or deficiencies
Essential:
- Electrical / mechanical / Comms installation qualifications
- Working and demonstrable understanding of Quality Assurance Processes
- Working and demonstrable understanding of Electrical / mechanical / Comms standards
- Good Construction/Engineering Industry Knowledge
- Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Asite
- Experience of using digital systems to support quality and completions record keeping for projects
Desired:
- HND/ NVQ/ CQI
- Professional certifications related to quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are advantageous but not required
- Very good knowledge and practical application of quality control, quality assurance and handover best practice strategies and interventions.
- Previous experience of working on both electrical and mechanical projects
