About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil) with 8–10 years of relevant experience, primarily in airport and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract management, billing, and overall commercial control of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil works.
- Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy.
- Manage project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Handle client billing, subcontractor billing, and certification processes.
- Monitor project progress and track variations/changes in scope.
- Prepare and evaluate tenders and contract documents.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors for commercial matters.
- Conduct rate analysis and cost benchmarking.
- Support in claims management and dispute resolution.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in airport and commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and billing processes.
- Familiarity with contract management (FIDIC or similar standards preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software/tools.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure or airport projects.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
