About the Role

This is high-profile role within the Core team,  will implement the Quality Management System and oversee that the delivery of services and construction practices are in line with QM Systems and standards. The quality of workmanship and materials will be audited to achieve QCS and BS standards to deliver improved finish and completions to acceptable Quality and Technical standards, will organise quality audits on Sub-Contractors and ensure they close out corrective actions.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance and quality control professionals
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Implement and oversee statistical process control methods to monitor production processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Manage and coordinate quality-related projects and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001
  • Develop and deliver quality-related training programs for employees
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging quality management techniques

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience working in Road/Highway Operation and Maintenance Contracts
  • Experience working in O & M Performance-Based Contracts
  • Exprience working outside MENA region
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality assurance software
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards
  • Strong knowledge of relevant quality control methodologies and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Qatar as required
