About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchaser to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Purchaser, you will play a crucial role in our organization's procurement process, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve efficiency
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Manage the entire procurement cycle, from requisition to delivery and payment
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their purchasing requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities and transactions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and customs procedures
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and maintain strong relationships with key vendors
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports to support decision-making processes
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Experience in supply chain management and international trade
- Knowledge of market trends, pricing strategies, and quality control processes
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred
