About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchaser to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Purchaser, you will play a crucial role in our organization's procurement process, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve efficiency
  • Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • Manage the entire procurement cycle, from requisition to delivery and payment
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their purchasing requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities and transactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and customs procedures
  • Conduct regular supplier evaluations and maintain strong relationships with key vendors
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports to support decision-making processes
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in supply chain management and international trade
  • Knowledge of market trends, pricing strategies, and quality control processes
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred
