About the Role

As a Project Manager with Egis, your impact will be in managing concurrent multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across NZ and potentially within the Pacific region. You will lead and deliver project services and outcomes that meet or exceed client and/or project requirements on time and within budget.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Managing projects to a high technical standard, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations to meet or exceed client and/or project requirements.
  • Prepare project plans providing clear direction on project specification, scope, safety, risk, delivery and cost.
  • Forecasting project deliverables and organising resources to meet required project outcomes.
  • Preparation of project reports, cost estimates, project budgets, milestone project programs.
  • Management of project financials, monitoring and reporting.
  • Prepare bids and proposals for sales opportunities.
  • Run internal and external stakeholder meetings regularly.
  • Undertake site-based construction superintendency inspections as and when required.

What do we need from you

Ideally, you will have 8+ years of demonstrated experience managing complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across all life stages within a consultancy environment.

In addition, you will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Electrical engineering
  • PMP certification highly desired
  • Proven background in project management for infrastructure projects at all life stages within New Zealand
  • Experience in the energy and/or water sectors is highly desirable, particularly where this includes regulated environments or complex stakeholder interfaces
  • High level of personal resilience and persistence with ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management and contract management expertise
  • Strong analytical and analytical skills with proven ability to deliver complex projects independently
  • Excellent conflict resolution management, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication capabilities to interface with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong computer and system literacy
