Egis is seeking a highly motivated Project Management Controller to support the planning, execution, and financial oversight of projects under the responsibility of Egis in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project and cost control, with experience in complex, multidisciplinary environments such as regional planning, engineering, and construction. The Project Management Controller is expected to deliver assignments in accordance with international standards and coordinate with both domestic and international teams as needed.
- Manages, revises, and maintains status of the detailed project cost estimate/forecast to include all phases of project execution from design/engineering, procurement and deliveries through start-up activities to closeout
- Tracks and analyzes the project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts. Analysis includes forecast to budget and estimate, forecast to actuals, and contingency analysis
- Assists in analyzing project control requirements as part of the bid review process to ensure all cost control requirements are incorporated into individual contracts and purchase orders
- Interacts with other project groups in relation to cost codes, purchase order commitments, change orders and sales tax issues as required and to ensure all accounting and regulatory compliance issues or guidelines are implemented.
- Assists in creating detailed project budgets from estimates and in the development of cash flow projections
- Manages key project indicators, project reports and project reviews
- Prepare and analyze project reports, forecasts, and dashboards to support decision-making
- Participating in the financial review of proposals
Apply technical knowledge in analyzing data, reporting and creating solutions
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) from a reputable university in engineering, project management, finance, or related field. Foreign diploma(s) are an advantage.
- Proven relevant technical experience in project and/or cost control
- Preferably experienced in project-related industries such as transportation or construction
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and digital tools for data analysis and visualization
- Analytical with exceptional numerical skills
- Data analysis and trending skills – analyzing Excel style data sets to identify trends
- Highly organized with attention to detail (create written/edit documents and run spread sheets)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Motivated to continuously develop technical skills and knowledge
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Familiarity with project software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent is a plus
- Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CCP (Certified Cost Professional), or PRINCE2 is an advantage
- Experience in a consultant firm is a strong advantage
