Day to day involvement in development of project design activities and production from the early stage design, through technical design development, to the construction documentation.
Design Management and Team Leadership:
- Adhere to project deadlines.
- Maintain the design quality standards.
- Deliver the projects under the guidance Senior Architect (SA) and/or Design Manager (DM) while providing technical support to Design Architects / Architects.
- Participate in the implementation of the project execution plan.
- Communicate when needed with project stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors) to manage expectations and drive success.
- Participate in the preparation of the projects’ list of deliverables.
Design & Technical Expertise:
- Contribute to preparation of project/s’ concept design preparation including but not limited to:
- Design Delivery plan (Assist SA/DM/SDM)
- Design Management Plan (Assist SA/DM/SDM)
- Presentation/s
- Drawings and reports
- Collaborate with SA on complex design challenges and ensure technical feasibility.
- Develop project deliveries while maintaining high-quality design documents and construction drawings.
- Develop project list of deliverables in line with the project contract brief.
- Assist in the review of code compliances and materials/ systems selection.
- Participate in the design coordination process within Architecture team and with other disciplines (in house or external design partners: civil, structure, MEP, ID, Landscape, vertical transportation, & other specialists’ consultant)
- Develop project BIM Models and production of Design documents/reports.
- Maintain the models’ BIM quality level in coordination with the BIM Coordinator / Manager.
- Implement successfully the project of the BIM Execution plan.
- Accountable for successful project delivery meeting the targeted deadlines.
- Accountable for maintaining the project deliverables Quality.
- Accountable for efficient planning and utilization of project’s man-hours assigned by team leader.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Fluency in spoken and written communication
- Active participation in internal meetings, presentations, and workshops.
- Building strong relationships with team members.
- Promoting and maintaining collaborative environment in the office.
Department Operations:
- Maintain professional code of conduct in line with the company’s ethics.
- Collaborate effectively with other disciplines and external consultants.
- Participate in Knowledge sharing and skills development.
- Develop partial ownership approach to assigned projects under guidance of SA/DM.
- Lead mentoring of younger team members in coordination with HoD directions.
- Bachelor’s in architecture with good experience.
- Minimum of [7] years of experience in landscape architectural design, at least practicing PLA responsibilities for 2 years.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, Project Delivery, and basics of building codes.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in GCC region.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in BIM process, implementation and workflows.
