About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Engineer (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing road operations and maintenance projects, ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of our road infrastructure.
- Develop and implement comprehensive road maintenance plans and schedules
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of road infrastructure to identify maintenance needs
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on road conditions, maintenance activities, and project progress
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Implement and monitor traffic management systems during maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with local and international road construction and maintenance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize road operations and maintenance processes
- Stay updated on innovative road maintenance techniques and technologies
- Participate in the development and implementation of road safety initiatives
What do we need from you
- Dipolma in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roads operations and maintenance projects
- Strong knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques
- Experience with road infrastructure assessment and maintenance planning
- Understanding of traffic management systems and road safety standards
- Familiarity with local and international road construction and maintenance standards
- Knowledge of Qatar's road infrastructure and local regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven time management and organizational skills
