We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and assist with overseeing the successful delivery of civil construction projects. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. If you have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering quality projects, we would love to hear from you!
Key responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination – Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and coordinating resources to ensure smooth execution of the construction process.
- Technical Support & Problem-Solving – Review engineering designs, provide technical guidance, and address any on-site challenges to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance – Monitor site work to ensure it meets quality standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety protocols.
- Cost & Resource Management – Assist with budgeting, track project expenses, and efficiently manage labour, materials, and equipment to stay within project parameters.
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods and design drawings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage with our stakeholders
