About the Role

The Project Director is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, coordination, and successful delivery of construction supervision projects. This role provides strategic direction and oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, in compliance with regulatory requirements, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Lead overall project delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and implement project execution plans, governance structures, and communication protocols.
  • Provide strategic leadership across all project phases from inception through handover.
  • Oversee scope, schedule, and budget management, including progress monitoring, forecasting, and change control.
  • Ensure effective project controls, planning, risk management, and reporting systems are in place.
  • Lead risk management processes, ensuring risks are identified, monitored, and mitigated.
  • Oversee design development and coordination across multi-disciplinary consultant teams.
  • Support procurement activities, tender evaluations, and contract administration in accordance with FIDIC principles.
  • Monitor construction activities, contractor performance, and site progress to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with clients, authorities, consultants, contractors, and operators.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure timely resolution of project issues.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE requirements, and project specifications.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover processes to ensure successful project completion.
  • Lead project reporting, prepare progress updates, and present findings to senior client leadership and stakeholders.

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in relevant project delivery roles, including at least 5 years on projects in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale mixed-use, residential, commercial, or hospitality developments.
  • Strong expertise in project controls, planning, risk management, and contract administration (FIDIC experience preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
