About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Project Director to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As the Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing hotel construction projects, ensuring their successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Lead and manage multiple hotel construction projects simultaneously, from inception to completion
  • Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and schedules to meet organizational goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project success
  • Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes
  • Analyze project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management processes

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 25+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects such as hotels
  • In-depth knowledge of various project components, including civil works, electrical systems, HVAC, and mechanical services
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse project teams
  • Excellent project planning, execution, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost control
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Egypt
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
