- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced project management software
- Implement and oversee cost control systems to monitor project expenses and forecast future costs
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders
- Lead and mentor a team of project control specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
- Develop and implement standardized project control processes and best practices
- Monitor project progress against established baselines and recommend corrective actions when necessary
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
- Participate in contract negotiations and change management processes
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls, preferably in large-scale rail projects
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership
- Advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Strong knowledge of cost control and forecasting tools
- Experience with risk management software and methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing project control teams
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Additional certifications in project controls or cost management (e.g., CCP, EVP) are a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and familiarity with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
