The Project Controls Engineer will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring project timelines and budgets. This role involves the application of industry-standard tools and techniques to ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently and within budgetary constraints. The position requires close collaboration with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and manage project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Monitor project progress and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with established goals.
Analyze project data to identify risks, delays, or deviations and propose corrective actions.
Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, including forecasts and variance analyses.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure schedule adherence.
Support the preparation of cost estimates and budget tracking for all project phases.
Maintain and update project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and change logs.
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
Conduct regular project reviews and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
Implement best practices for project controls to optimize efficiency and resource allocation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project controls, planning, or scheduling roles.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other scheduling software.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and cost control techniques.
Familiarity with industry standards, including Earned Value Management (EVM).
Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
