- Providing an oversight for development, review and monitoring of project schedules, and the master program schedule incorporating the individual package schedules
Developing and managing project reporting formats and procedures
Developing and managing the system, structure and tools for document management systems
Providing recommendations to manage project risks and improve the financial performance of the project
Supporting the project team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems
Interfacing with the Clients, attending regular meetings, and providing statistical reports
Providing guidance and specialized assistance for issues related to project cost and time
Managing and coordinating the preparation and maintenance of budgets and cost estimates
Developing and maintaining status reports including schedule status, financial analysis, cost performance and earned value reports
Generating critical milestones for the construction stage through detailed discussions with the Project Manager, and evaluation of interfaces
Monitoring and reporting the actual progress of the work versus the planned work
Monitor actual production rates and compare with plan
Managing regular site inspections to assess contractor’s work progress based on approved schedule
Managing the assessment of the impact of design and construction changes and schedule slippages
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or electrical engineering
12 years' experience in rail, metro or related project experience
Recent success in a leadership or managerial role responsible for developing or managing cost schedules and project controls
Strong track record in planning and scheduling in the design and construction rail projects
Fully competent with Primavera (P6) planning, scheduling and project control systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Project scheduling software
Excellent English written and oral communication skills to communicate with the client as well as technical and non-technical team members
Ability to communicate clearly to conduct presentations to management and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionals
