- Manages, revises, and maintains status of the detailed project cost estimate/forecast to include all phases of project execution from design/engineering, procurement and deliveries through start-up activities to closeout
- Tracks and analyzes the project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts. Analysis includes forecast to budget and estimate, forecast to actuals, and contingency analysis
- Assists in analyzing project control requirements as part of the bid review process to insure all cost control requirements are incorporated into individual contracts and purchase orders
- Interacts with other project groups in relation to cost codes, purchase order commitments, change orders and sales tax issues as required and to ensure all accounting and regulatory compliance issues or guidelines are implemented.
- Assists in creating detailed project budgets from estimates and in the development of cash flow projections
- Manages key project indicators, project reports and project reviews
- Participate to the financial review of proposals
- Apply technical knowledge in analysing data, reporting and creating solutions
- At least 10 years relevant technical experience
- Experience in infrastructure and/or building works
- Utilize suite of Microsoft Office applications and digital platforms at an intermediate level to review data, identify themes and prepare representative graphs
- Preferably having experience in project related business such as oil and gas, LNG, heavy construction industries
- Analytical with exceptional numerical skills
- Data analysis and trending skills – analysing Excel style data sets to identify trends
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail (create written/edit documents and run spread sheets)
- Motivated to continuously develop technical skills and knowledge
