We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Control Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project controls for large-scale projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and schedule constraints.
- Direct and manage project control activities, including cost engineering, cost estimating, planning, and scheduling for large-scale projects
- Establish criteria and set up systems for all project control activities
- Develop, implement, and maintain project control processes and procedures
- Analyze project performance data and provide accurate forecasts and reports to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact project timelines or budgets
- Lead and mentor a team of project control professionals
- Continuously improve project control methodologies and tools
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and local regulations
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate project status and control measures
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in project controls, with 15+ years preferred
- Proven track record of managing project controls for large-scale projects
- Thorough knowledge of cost engineering, cost estimating, planning, and scheduling techniques
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in project management and control software
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Experience working internationally, with preference for experience in Saudi Arabia
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in project control
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
