We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Control Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our project management organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects across various industries.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project control systems, including cost estimates, budgets, and schedules
- Monitor project progress, analyze variances, and provide timely reports to stakeholders
- Implement and oversee cost control measures to optimize project performance and profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
- Conduct regular project reviews and forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including change orders and contract modifications
- Provide expert guidance on project control methodologies and best practices to team members
- Analyze project data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and lessons learned
- Assist in the development of project proposals and bid packages
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project controls, with a focus on cost and schedule management
- Proven expertise in cost engineering, cost estimating, control, and analysis
- Strong background in planning and scheduling, schedule development, control, and analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices in project controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Experience working on international projects, preferably in the Middle East region
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Professional certification in project management or related field (e.g., PMP, CCP) is a plus
