About the Role

 

  • Develop and implement project control strategies, systems, and processes to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead a team of project control professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management
  • Establish and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability
  • Conduct regular project reviews and risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
  • Analyze project performance data and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
  • Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in project control methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in project execution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government entities

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
  • 15+ years of experience in project control or related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex projects in construction, engineering, and rail projects
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and Excel
  • Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills, with the ability to develop and manage project budgets
  • Expertise in risk management, performance metrics, and KPI development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels
  • In-depth understanding of local regulations and business practices in Saudi Arabia
  • Additional relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, AACE International certifications) are a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management and mentoring
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
