In Indonesia, the growing Egis Transport & Territories team is responsible for transport planning, geotechnical engineering and road & pavement design for projects in Indonesia and wider Southeast Asia. Assignments are typically feasibility studies, masterplans, basic engineering design, etc.
Responsibilities
The Project Assistant/Transport Analyst provides essential administrative, logistical, and data management support to the Project Manager and project team. This role is critical for ensuring the project runs efficiently, maintains accurate records, and communicates effectively among stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in data handling and administrative tasks.
Data Collection & Management
· Technical documentation: Maintain and update project documentation, including files, databases, and digital records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Contribute to technical data collection and transport analysis where required. Contribute to transport surveys programing and execution. Contribute to document quality control including reports, drawings and other deliverables through template management and reviews.
· General documentation: Implement and enforce data management protocols for project-related information (e.g., tracking sheets, resource allocation, budget summaries). Compile, clean, and analyze project data for reporting and monitoring purposes under the direction of the Project Manager.
Coordination & Reporting
· Manage consultations: Schedule and coordinate project meetings. Prepare agendas, necessary handouts, and presentation materials. Attend meetings and record, transcribe, and distribute Minutes of Meeting (MoM), ensuring clear documentation of decisions, action items, and responsible parties. Follow up on assigned action items with team members to ensure timely completion. Liaise with General Assistant for logistic matters, such as processing and tracking project-related paperwork.
· Technical & management reporting: Prepare project status reports, technical memoranda, and presentations using graphical data and transportation terminology. Assist in the preparation and formatting of project reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Others: Other responsibilities in technical production, tendering, and project control may be considered.
Bachelor from a reputable university in transport or road engineering, or related fields.
Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, written)
Ease with all regular office software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) is required
Experience with GIS is highly desirable
At least 1 experience in urban or transport planning is required
Experience abroad is a strong advantage
English & Indonesian: it is required to master reading, writing and speaking
Team-oriented with clear, positive and accountable attitude
Flexibility to handle tight deadlines, manage priorities, and travel
