About the Role

Oracle Project Accounting Management

  • Administer and maintain Oracle Project Accounting modules (Project Costing, Billing, and PPM).
  • Ensure accurate setup of projects, budgets, and expenditure types.
  • Monitor and manage project financials, including cost allocation, revenue recognition, and billing.
  • Perform monthly and year-end reconciliations between projects and General Ledger.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and resolve complex accounting issues within Oracle systems.

Financial Control & Compliance

  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures for project financial management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for audit readiness and support internal/external audits.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate and analyse project financial reports using ERP reports
  • Provide insights on project profitability, cost variances, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with project managers to forecast costs and manage financial risks.

Process Improvement

  • Identify gaps in current processes and implement improvements for efficiency.
  • Lead testing and implementation and impacting Project Accounting and PPM modules.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance, HR, Payroll, and Project Management teams for labour costing and resource allocation.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on Oracle Project Accounting functionalities.

What do we need from you

  • Master degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, or Oracle Financials Certification) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project accounting, with at least 3 years in Oracle Project Accounting or Oracle PPM.
  • Strong understanding of project costing, billing, and revenue recognition principles.

  • Expertise in Oracle Project Accounting and Oracle Cloud PPM modules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
