We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Power Supply Engineer to join our team in Alexandria, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing power supply systems that meet the highest standards of efficiency and reliability. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative power solutions for a variety of applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to excellence in power electronics engineering.

• Design and develop power supply circuits and systems, including AC-DC and DC-DC converters, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
• Conduct detailed circuit analysis and simulations using industry-standard tools to validate designs before prototyping
• Perform comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of power supply prototypes and production units to identify and resolve technical issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test reports
• Analyze power electronics components and select appropriate power management ICs and passive components for specific applications
• Collaborate with PCB design teams to ensure proper layout and routing for optimal thermal and electrical performance
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical safety standards and industry regulations (IEC, UL, CE)
• Evaluate and implement improvements to existing power supply designs to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve reliability
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations to optimize system performance
• Support the manufacturing and quality assurance teams during production and field deployment phases

• Proven experience in power supply design and development, including AC-DC and DC-DC conversion systems
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit theory, and electrical engineering principles
• Proficiency with circuit simulation and analysis tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or equivalent software
• Experience with PCB design tools and understanding of PCB layout best practices for power applications
• Solid understanding of power management integrated circuits and their applications
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements (IEC, UL, CE)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic systems
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills
• Organized approach to project management and ability to work effectively in team environments
• Preferred: Experience with renewable energy systems or battery management systems
• Preferred: Knowledge of thermal management techniques and heat dissipation solutions
• Preferred: Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller integration
• Preferred: Project management or team leadership experience
