We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Rolling Stock Engineer/RSM Asset Management Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing and optimising the performance, reliability, and safety of our rolling stock assets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies for rolling stock, ensuring optimal performance and longevity
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of rolling stock to identify maintenance needs and potential issues
- Design and oversee maintenance programmes, including preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Analyse data from asset management systems to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency
- Manage projects related to rolling stock upgrades, modifications, and new acquisitions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain documentation for rolling stock maintenance procedures and best practices
- Provide technical expertise and support to operations and maintenance teams
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in rolling stock engineering
- O&M experience of Plant (tampers, ballast regulators, Ultrasonic testing Train, Track Recording vehicles (Geometry) Dynamic Track Stabilisers (DTS) etc.
- Ideally a Chartered Engineer or B. Eng or with significant in role experience.
- Rail Operations experience
- Factory acceptance testing (FAT)
- Site acceptance testing (SAT)
- HAZID HAZOP able to contribute to the process and identify weaknesses in process.
- Experience of writing plant / rolling stock specification for the introduction of new fleet
- Familiar with Plasser and Harsco Equipment
- Assurance experience and root cause analysis
- Writing standards and procedures
- Delivery of Technical Instructions
- Familiar with or experience of Engineering change management.
- Experience in the implementation of Mechanised maintenance planning and setting of plant / rolling stock maintenance requirements.
- Familiar with RSSB standards in relation to rolling stock and yellow plant requirements.
- Maximo experience or other EAMS useful
