We are seeking a detail-oriented Planning Engineer - Planning to join our dynamic site team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful planning and execution of construction projects, working collaboratively with Project Manager/Resident Engineer and team members to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using advanced planning software such as Primavera
- Review and analyze procurement and construction programs for contractors and subcontractors
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, graphs, and critical path analyses for weekly and monthly reporting
- Monitor actual progress against construction programs and report deviations to Client
- Assist in identifying project risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines
- Collaborate closely with site supervision teams to gather real-time progress updates
- Conduct independent site visits to evaluate contractor progress against established programs
- Support the evaluation of potential additional works and variation proposals
- Maintain detailed records of program monitoring to support claim evaluations and dispute resolutions
- Assist in workshops and meetings to facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders
- Review and prepare Extension Of Time recommendation report to Client.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 7 years of UAE experience.
Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and workflows.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
