We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our Building Projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and quality requirements
- Create and monitor baseline, recovery, and revised schedules for multiple projects under tight timelines
- Conduct critical path analysis and implement strategies to prevent project delays
- Prepare time impact analyses and extension of time claims when necessary
- Monitor planning data and continuously improve process effectiveness
- Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure timely project delivery
- Identify and address constraints impacting project success
- Generate accurate and timely weekly and monthly progress reports
- Facilitate cross-departmental project communications and attend regular project meetings
- Provide expert advice on resource allocation and optimisation
- Eng Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and other project scheduling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Track record of successful project delivery within time and budget constraints
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, techniques, and project management principles
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Professional certifications in project management or planning (desirable)
- Adaptability and resilience in handling challenging project situations
