o Oversee the issuance, tracking, and renewal of all required construction permits.
o Ensure permits are obtained in compliance with airport authority, local regulations, and project requirements.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of permit-related legal requirements and advise the project team accordingly.
o Act as the main point of contact between the consultant, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies for permit approvals.
o Coordinate with stakeholders for timely permit processing.
o Maintain a comprehensive database of all permits, approvals, and regulatory documents.
o Ensure that permit applications are accurately completed, submitted on time, and tracked until approval.
o Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with permitted activities.
o Identify and report any violations or non-compliance issues and coordinate corrective actions.
o Identify potential permitting risks or delays and develop mitigation strategies.
o Support the project team in resolving permit-related issues that could impact construction progress. o Provide regular updates logs, and reports on permit status to project management.
o Ensure all teams are informed about permit conditions, restrictions, and compliance requirements.
University Degree Strong knowledge of permit management processes, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols in construction projects.
Familiarity with international airport construction regulations (e.g., ICAO, IATA, local civil aviation authority standards).
Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) or permit-to-work systems is an advantage. Proficiency in permit tracking and documentation management systems.
Proven experience in managing work permits for construction activities within a highly regulated environment, such as airports.
Strong understanding of permit-to-work systems, restricted zones, and airside/landside access procedures.
Experience in coordinating with authorities, contractors, safety teams, and project stakeholders to ensure timely permit approvals.
Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations affecting airport construction.
Ability to track and monitor permit status, ensure compliance, and mitigate potential delays in project execution.
Excellent organizational and communication skills to facilitate permit approvals efficiently
