We are on the hunt for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team, based in Melbourne.
This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining work from home days and in-office collaboration.
We are looking for a candidate who is not only willing and eager to learn but also takes initiative and demonstrates a high level of self-motivation. This role will assist the Payroll team in delivering our ANZ Payroll and will be dedicated to efficient and effective payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the payroll team in end-to-end payroll processing across Australia and New Zealand
- Work flexibly with the New Zealand time zone when required.
- Use Excel extensively for payroll analysis, reconciliations and reporting.
- Support payroll improvements, system enhancements and process efficiencies.
- Handle payroll inquiries and effectively communicate with stakeholders across various departments.
- Proven experience processing both Australian and New Zealand payroll.
- Strong working knowledge of ANZ payroll legislation and compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Definitiv experience highly desired.
- MYOB experience.
- Sound understanding of award interpretations.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional initiative-taking and self-motivation skills.
