We’re at an exciting time in our growth, and we are looking for an Oracle Administrator on a 3-month fixed-term contract with an opportunity for this to become a permanent position:

We are looking for a quick start, so we will be interviewing available candidates from the 6th of May 

You'll be involved in the inputting and cleansing of data on the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.

3 days in the office and 2 days remote required


About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Cleansing:

    • Identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and duplicates in the database. 
    • Standardising data formats and structures. 
    • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the database. 
    • Developing and implementing data cleansing procedures and tools. 
  • Data Quality and Governance:

    • Working with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality meets business needs. 
    • Monitoring data quality and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. 
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborating with developers, analysts, and other IT professionals to support data-related initiatives. 
    • Communicating data quality issues and proposed solutions to stakeholders. 

What do we need from you

  • Technical Skills:

    • Extensive knowledge of Oracle database administration 
    • Experience with data cleansing techniques and tools. 
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
    • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively. 
  • Industry Experience:

    • Experience working with Oracle databases 
    • Experience with data cleansing and data quality initiatives. 
    • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
