We are seeking a highly skilled MEP/T&C Engineer with experience in mixed-use building construction to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for complex construction projects.
- Design and develop MEP systems for mixed-use building projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Conduct Testing and Commissioning (T&C) procedures to verify system performance and functionality
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into building designs
- Perform detailed calculations and analysis to optimize MEP system efficiency and sustainability
- Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software
- Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues during construction and post-occupancy phases
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in MEP engineering
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- Minimum 9 years of experience in MEP engineering for mixed-use building projects
- Proficiency in MEP systems design, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection
- Extensive knowledge of Testing and Commissioning (T&C) procedures for building systems
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations, particularly in Saudi Arabia
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software for creating technical drawings and models
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams
- Experience with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient systems
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Willingness to work on-site as needed and adapt to dynamic project requirements
