About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Manager to join our team in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for our projects, ensuring efficient operations, and driving innovation in our engineering processes.
- Lead and coordinate MEP activities across multiple projects, ensuring seamless integration with other engineering disciplines
- Develop and implement MEP strategies to optimise performance, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of MEP systems for various infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for MEP-related activities
- Ensure compliance with local Saudi Arabian regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of MEP operations
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability in MEP systems
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians within the MEP team
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
- Stay abreast of the latest MEP technologies and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 12 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Proven track record in team leadership and project management
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their application in various types of infrastructure
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction and engineering standards
- In-depth understanding of local MEP regulations and codes
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
- Excellent skills in MS Office Suite for reporting and data analysis
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to work on-site in Khafji, Saudi Arabia
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
