About the Role

Job Description

MEP Engineer will oversee the design, execution, and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within infrastructure and construction projects. This role ensures that all MEP works meet approved specifications, industry standards, and project requirements. The position requires close collaboration with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the implementation of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

  • Review and approve MEP designs, shop drawings, and material submittals.

  • Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans and industry standards.

  • Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with other project components.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to maintain schedules and budgets.

  • Prepare and submit periodic progress reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on all MEP works.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.

  • Stay updated with advancements in MEP technologies and recommend their application for project efficiency.

 


What do we need from you

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing MEP works within construction projects.

  • Proven expertise in MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices in MEP engineering.

  • Experience in preparing technical reports, material specifications, and cost estimates.
